I’ve looked into your order and note that we emailed shortly after you placed your order advising of the short delay and the estimated delay time (which has been 17 days, so given current supply chain issues not really ‘massive’ in our view). We also sent a follow up email on 18/5 with an update. When the product was despatched (22/5) we sent a further email advising of despatch. perhaps you could check your junk file to see if these emails have been received although you also noted that Comms were ok so am a little confused. Returning unwanted products at the buyers expense is standard practice (unless of course the goods are faulty) so I’m not sure why you felt this warranted a warning. I hope this helps and am sorry that you’ve been disappointed with the service.

Thank you for your feedback which we understand, however we specifically ask at the checkout 'is this item a gift?' This gives the person ordering the opportunity to send a FREE handwritten gift card AND a no price invoice, which is what you wanted, but did not take the option up. We're sorry, but with our order volumes and semi automated picking notes but we cannot just base this on a hunch that because it's going to a different person it needs a no value invoice. We have plenty of customers that send things to neighbours addresses etc. I'm not quite clear why something that was available and you declined merits a one star review, which is very harsh given the above.
