On this occasion it is hands up, our service has fallen below the level I deem acceptable. Of course the watch did take a little longer to repair than hoped, for that I am sorry. We are in the process of rectifying the issue that as recurred. We are doing everything possible to rectify this as soon as possible. We will be in contact with you once the watch is ready. Thank you for your feedback. I am pleased that you are happy with the quality of workmanship. When we receive a watch in for repair, we do show it to our Master Watchmaker for his thoughts on repair requirements. Looking into this particular repair, it does appear that he suggested a service, as one had not been carried our for a while. Within a watch there are a number of oils, if these oils are not periodically removed, and reapplied then this can cause damage to the watch in the short or medium term. So whilst the watch is working, which I am delighted to hear, I would say that it will probably require a service sooner rather than later. Please let us know if we can be of further service.
