Hi Charles, thanks for taking the time to post your review for us here on Feefo. I'm glad to hear your order arrived on time, however I'm sorry to learn you found the screws weren't strong enough. We call them our 'small but mighty'  fixings as the plugs are specially designed and not like standard wall plugs. The jaws of the plug open from the front to allow optimum hold, even in plasterboard. The screws are ideal to use with the plugs and we can assure you they are perfectly adequate to hold the weight of the shelf as well as up to 45kg holding weight. We've never known these fixings to not live up to their name, however if you have had any problems using the ones we sent to you please let us know more at info@funky-chunky-furniture.co.uk.
