Thank you for your feedback, we are pleased to hear you are happy with your blinds. All blinds need some clearance to operate smoothly, especially the guillotine shaped blinds you mention as they swing to open. We are careful to minimise these spaces and in this case lined them up with your door frame. We do not advise that the blinds are moved closer together as this risks them clashing and becoming tangled. We hope that this explains the design and installation.
