Email rcvd Oct 2nd saying policy would auto-renew on Oct 9th, but it renewed on Oct 2nd, giving me zero time to stop it ! VERY poor...

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback. I’m sorry to hear that you are unhappy with our service.
We have looked into this and can see that your policy was set to automatically renew. I can see that there was a system error and you did not receive the renewal invitation 30 days prior as is our standard process - I do apologise for this. We sent out a renewal reminder email 14 days prior to the renewal, with payment being attempted 7 days prior to the renewal, to ensure there are no gaps in cover should there be any issues with the payment.
The email you received on the 2nd October was to confirm that the policy had renewed and the automatic renewal was switched on for 9th October 2023.
All of our policies are set to automatically renew the following year however customers are able to cancel this at any time.
If you would like to cancel your insurance or do not wish for your policy to be automatically renewed next year, please do not hesitate to get in touch with our team on 0333 321 1403 or respond to this message and we can get that sorted for you.
