Thank you for this. I am so pleased that you enjoyed Brezza di Mare, although your experience was marred by a temporary fault in one of the air conditioning units. In addition to our correspondence since you returned home we would like to reiterate our apology that we were unable to resolve the issue with the air conditioning on this occasion, and I know you have been recompensed for this.
With regards to the availability of our London team whilst you were away I'd like to clarify how our local service works. Any issues you experience whilst on holiday are dealt with by our award winning local teams (twice voted "best on the ground service" at the Conde Nast Traveller Readers' Travel Awards). They are in a much better position to resolve any issue than are our staff in London, and their experience, expertise and empathy are one of the main differences our clients notice between The Thinking Traveller and other villa operators. On this occasion you were in daily contact with our local staff in Sicily, and it was regrettable that the air conditioning unit required an electronic part that the owner was unable to source until after your departure.
