Dear Clint,

  Thank you for your business. You appear to have two areas of concern with which you're not satisfied. I have addressed them below:

1. "Highlighting" on your resume. Our lead writer highlighted a few key areas for discussion. To remove the highlights in MS WORD, you'd simply highlight those sections w/ your mouse and then choose "NO COLOR" on the highlighter toolbar. We can do it for you too! It's an easy thing that won't even take a minute. I've even taken a moment to create a short video demonstrating how to do it -- on your own resume! That video is at: https://youtu.be/vJePYag7ILQ

2. Your order was placed 2 weeks ago and we sent you an initial draft of your resume within 3 business days. We advised you at that time that we are waiting for your "green light" to proceed with your LinkedIn Profile. You've written us emails filled with curse words over the highlighted sections of your new resume but you have not yet given us the 'go ahead' to do your LinkedIn Profile. Please let us know if there is anything else you need us to do before proceeding with that. You can reply to this thread, email us through the website, call our toll-free#, or text or call me directly on my personal cell at 352-978-6122. If we do not hear from you by the end of Thursday, we'll proceed with it automatically.

  Sir- We want you to have a resume that you LOVE and, according to our records, you DO love it but all of your disappointment seems to revolve around the easily-corrected idea that your resume has some areas on it that we highlighted in yellow. I appreciate that you do not know how to edit the highlights in Word but we are certainly here to help you. I trust that you're pleased w/ our service now as you've been helped by the writer, 2 customer service agents, and myself (the owner of the company) writing you an immediate after hours response and creating a "how to" video exclusively to help YOU!

An added note for readers: The reason this resume was sent to the client with some highlights is because some information/dates were omitted. Our writing team highlighted those areas in our initial draft w/ a sidebar request asking the client to let us know the correct dates we worked at those locations.

  Are we talking about the same resume? Looking through our notes, you initially sent us a tired looking, unformatted resume with bullet points reading "Account reconciliation" and "Processing bank deposits" (those were examples of your original bullet points in their entirety!)...We gave you back a beautifully-formatted professional resume that is ATS-compliant and contains such revised bullet points as "Demonstrated strong accounting skills while filing taxes nationwide, creating journal entries, processing bank deposits and managing account reconciliation."   You sent us "...Review of potentially fraudulent transactions" and we sent you back " Thoroughly reviewed day to day operations to mitigate risk, maintain regulatory / legal compliance and minimize fraudulent activity."  While there's always room for improvement in our second draft, I honestly don't see why you believe we only did a "1 star" job!

   I have personally reviewed the document that we sent to you and do not see a single grammatical error. MS Word cannot find any errors either. The document we produced was initially reviewed & edited by full-time professional who also did find any errors. If you'd kindly point out to us what you do not like...we'll fix it for you right away!

  I am not clear re: why you chose not to respond to our writers request to help you further. We certainly cannot move forward that way. Re-assigning to another lead writer is certainly an option but we need a clear understanding of what you do not like about the resume we sent as I, the original writer, the lead writer, the editor...and grammar-check technology...see no errors or issues in the new resume we sent you.

Hi Kelly,

   Thanks for uploading your document to our client services center. I have thoroughly reviewed your notes. Please note that "grammar" is spelled with an "-ar" and not an "-er."  You appear to have only listed two items you perceive to be grammatical errors:  1) Our use/lack of commas in certain places and 2) a capitalization issue.

   In all cases, the decision to omit a comma was intentional as each instance was during sentences containing multiple items listed together with the final item separated from the rest by the word "and." In American English, there is no rule requiring a comma in these cases.

   Nevertheless, we are happy to add commas for you--- Just let us know!

  In the second instance, you stated that the word "Professional" should not be capitalized. However, the way it's used in this sentence (as a noun and a title), it should absolutely be capitalized! Nevertheless, we're happy to change the capital "P" to a lowercase "p" for you!

  The rest of your notes can easily be addressed in a revision. Some are excellent points and the type of feedback we expect after submitting a first draft. Others would need to be explained. For example, you asked why there is some space at the top of page 1 .... but there is an even amount of space in the top & bottom margins. You noted that the "Key Areas of Expertise" were not centered but in fact, they were! Some of those issues occur when one computer interprets a Word document differently than another. When a user has different screen  settings and/or printer drivers, a document will rarely setup and display identically to how it does on our end. As a result, we send our final draft as a formatted PDF and we will do so for you once the balance of your revisions are done.

  We do hope you like the way we dramatically transformed your wording. Your original version merely stated previous job tasks and wasn't ATS compliant. Your new resume already contains more standout language, is* ATS compliant, and makes careful....strategic decisions regarding what to include and what not to include.

  I am very sorry to hear about your experience. I'm glad we got your resume to you on time but I wish we would've gotten your simple revisions to you faster. Actually, I regret to inform you that your lead writer had a major car accident leading to hospitalization in this was why the response was delayed.    I was very shocked to see your review.   : (

Immediately, I researched your account and I see you've placed SEVERAL orders with us over the last year but this is the first time you've ever reviewed us. I'm confident you were happy with all past jobs we did for you?

As far as I can see...Your current order was only an amendment to the resume we did for you early in 2017...You asked us to add just one recent job to your file. You provided a description of that job and a copy of the job post and our writer added it promptly. When you pointed out what you didn't like (choice of wording more than a grammatical issue), we revised it right away at no additional charge. If there is something else about this new version of your resume that you do not like, I will gladly have a second writer (in your field) thoroughly revise it for you.

I hate to see anyone so upset---especially over an order which was only a request to add ONE job to a great resume we did for you almost a year ago. I would hope that with all of the work we've done for you in the past...and all of the success you've apparently had with our work in the past...that we'd be worth more than "1 star" in your eyes...even in light of this one, smaller "add-on" order you clearly did not like.
