Hi there The only difference between batches of food would be the veggies as we use seasonal vegetables. Sometimes these can give off a different smell if we have used red cabbage or cabbage for example. We use specific machinery which means that every order is exactly what it says it is - duck, chicken and turkey are all similar in their original form so do tend to have the same appearance. Sometimes dogs can appear to go off food but we would recommend taking a look at this - https://www.prodograw.com/help-my-dogs-gone-off-raw-dog-food/ - happy to help if you have any further questions. Kind Regards Team ProDog
