Thank you for your feedback. Couriers typically have up to 48 hours to deliver parcels. I completely understand your concerns, and I've included our defrosting guidance below for your reference. If your food has arrived outside these times, then we do urge you to contact us so we may liaise with the courier company directly in order to address the delivery issues. And of course, assist with your order if it needs replacing. Our raw materials are delivered directly from the supplier in a frozen state, and our manufacturing process uses special equipment to allow us to mince and blend the meals fully frozen, ensuring that the product always remains frozen. Food is stored in a blast freezer before transit to our distribution centre in freezer lorries and in freezers on-site, never exceeding -18 degrees. We carefully package our meals for transit, designed to stay fresh for up to 60 hours to accommodate our 2-day delivery areas. However, warmer summer temperatures or delays can affect this. If you have any concerns about defrosting, a good rule of thumb is to touch the food with the back of your hand. If the food is partially defrosted or it feels cold to the touch, you can safely refreeze it. As long as the raw food has been stored and packaged properly and it has thawed slowly, it can be refrozen safely. If it's soft all the way through and at room temperature, we recommend storing up to three days' worth in the fridge. If the food is fully defrosted & more than what you can store in the fridge we request you please send us some details. Do let us know by emailing support@prodograw.com if we can assist your further.
