We're so glad to see you enjoyed Italy and the insider information provided by your Travel Director. Sorry to hear that your travel companion struggled with the amount of walking involved. We do mention in in our brochure that all itineraries involve a fair amount of walking, often on cobblestone streets and uneven surfaces. Everyone who was affected by the Volcano eruption was extremely disappointed. Unfortunately, our hands were tied since the airport was closed and no flights were arriving. So sorry to hear that you were ill during your vacation. Each hotel is unique on this trip and they all have different amenities available.
