As with all reviews, we like to respond with the full detail to ensure that anyone reading them, when considering purchasing a policy with NextGen are fully aware of the detail behind the review and the score.
I can see you only purchased your policy on 13th May 2023. You then got in touch to query the 'family' cover within your policy. Our friendly team advised you that we can only cover additional riders in your family when they live at the same address as you.Unfortunately, this didn't meet your needs, as such, your policy was cancelled at your request and a refund issued.
We do provide very clear and concise information on our product for you to view when purchasing the policy alongside our helpful FAQ's and we're also available on e-mail, web-chat, over the telephone and of course on each social media channel. It's a shame that you hadn't got in touch prior to purchasing if you were unsure.
We hope you find the cover that you require and wish you many happy days of cycling.

misleading policy
policy is unclear and misleading - i insured a new £499 black S20Fe phone and when i lost it after paying £75 excess was told id get a refurbished orange one. i complained and no result

The policy terms and conditions and indeed all information and FAQ's on our website are very clear. Unfortunately we do rely on our Customers to understand the cover that they're purchasing and of course we're always available to answer question on our cover.
The insurance product that we offer is not a 'new for old' insurance policy. What this means essentially is that if you have a device that isn't brand new, when making a claim, you will receive a claim settlement that places you back in the same financial position that you enjoyed before the loss occurred.
Regarding the colour of your device. I can find no record of a complaint regarding the final colour of the replacement device, however, as we've shared, we can get this corrected for you should you wish.
