Hi, Many thanks for your feedback. Since brexit, the UK have been treated as a third country by the EU, therefore any imports received require customs clearance. All shipments sent from forward2me are forwarded delivery duty unpaid so import duty and taxes will be calculated on import to your country according to local laws and payable by you. I do see that you may have saved a small amount in shipping if you had chosen our combine and repack service, when this option is chosen our warehouse team assess the parcel and repack the goods as efficiently as possible to ensure that you obtain the maximum value for shipping. Also there was some cheaper shipping options available to you which could have been chosen. I understand making payment for import duty and taxes when shipping from the UK makes the cost of your purchases more expensive now, this is out of our control however we have opened up an address in Germany where customers within the EU can purchase goods from other EU countries without the need to go through customs clearance. HI, Many thanks for your review. I'm pleased to hear that you are happy with the service we offer. With regards to the shipping price we do feel that we offer value for money for the service we provide, this includes the use of the address, the acceptance, processing and preparation of the goods for shipping including all export paperwork required. During the pandemic all our couriers have added extra fees to help them combat the extra charges they are facing to ensure that their employees can continue to work in a safe enviroment. Due to forward2me being already competitve we have to pass on these extra fees to the customer. We have also found that many budget services that were offered before the pandemic are no longer viable for the couriers due to the lack of space on transportation so they have been removed from our offerings. Over the next few months, once the world opens up again, we are hoping the freight space will increase and the budget services can once again be offered by forward2me.
