Disappointed with deduction of premiums policy

Service from exotic direct is good but one thing hangs over them like a cloud their policy of deducting all the remaining premiums from what they pay out even my veterinary surgeon says the policy...

Thank you i’d rather pay a higher premium at the outset it’s very upsetting to find you have agreed to pay a claim and then deduct all remaining premiums from the payout it also defeats the object of the insurance if as has happened to me you end up owing a vet hundreds of pound
