Hi Simon, We are very sorry to read that you have not been happy with your experience with DLC. When you begin your studies the student support team calls you and introduces the team and how our unlimited support works, I can see Glenda from the team did introduce herself and the process to you and this is also followed up with an email recapping on how we can help. The tutor team are not anonymous, you will usually deal with different experts for different subjects as you progress through your course, we are happy to act on your feedback about adding a photo to the learning platform and some of our team are more than willing to do this, in fact we have already started adding them! Your student support liaison keeps in regular contact with you during your studies so you are never alone, in between their contact you can access unlimited support, direct message your tutor, direct message members of the DLC and use our forums to interact with other students. At level 5 and above each student is provided with learning materials, and additional resources through their Institute membership, however there is a requirement for students to carry out their own independent research, this is the case with all professional qualifications. Of course, if you do need additional guidance on where or how to do this, please just ask, the team will be more than happy to support you with this. The student support team will be in touch within the next 2 weeks as part of their regular contact however please do contact us at any time if you need any further support.
