I'm so sorry that you had a bad time using our site. I just tried calling you to chat about what your experience and how we could improve. We never store any credit card information on our site, so we would not have been able to charge your card at a later time. I'm also sorry that you weren't able to chat with anyone when you called. Hi Nicole - I'm so sorry that the cable was out for your entire stay. :-( Unfortunately, it appeared it was a bottleneck that both the hotel and the Suiteness Concierge team was waiting on the technician to come visit and resolve this issue. Since this is a bit out of our control, we were unable to apply any extra pressure to resolve it sooner and if it came off as if it was no big issue, I am truly sorry. They were unable to resolve it fast enough during your stay and I know this is no excuse. However, I do see that you were able to take advantage of our Suiteness credits which is our way of helping people take more vacations. Hi Raijona - We offer a variety of rate plans on our website so that for those who have definitive plans, they are able to enjoy an advance purchase rate discount in exchange for a non-cancelable rate. If your plans aren't completely set in stone - no worries, we offer a more flexible cancellation policy in exchange for a higher rate. It's actually the hotel that sets these plans, we just connect with them to make sure they're as low as possible to get you the best rate as possible. I know that this trade off isn't less ideal, especially if you want to get the best price you can for the stay however this is great feedback to continue to bring back to the hotels to let the customers know what they want! Hi Thomas - That front desk interaction sounds terrible and I'm sorry we put you in the middle of it. We have a master account on file for all hotels to charge, however they're all created individually and special so that if any of them were compromised - all other guest reservations would not be compromised. However, in exchange for security, hotels are not used to having to charge a different card on file (although attached to the same account) for each reservation. Sometimes things don't go as we planned and there's an awkward interaction like the one you encountered. We hope that as we grow, hotels will be able to understand this extra level of security we've placed to make sure our reservations are as secure as can be.
