Sorry you were disappointed with the service at the hotel and the breakfast quality. We do explain in our brochure that the service levels and standards in Cape Verde cannot be compared with those in other holiday destinations and therefore we have our own ratings system, which is based on standards on the islands and feedback from our customers.
Having spoken to Tracey, our representative on Sal she confirms there was a tummy bug present at the time of your stay, not just at the hotel but over many of the islands. Tracey confirms she mentioned this at her welcome meetings at the time but I am sorry you were ill and I hope you are now fully recovered.
The general feedback about the hotel is very good, so I am sorry your own experience on this occasion was not a positive one but thanks for taking the time to give us your feedback.
