Dear James,
I'm VERY sorry that you're so disappointed in the work we did for you. I've researched your order and I do see that you spoke via telephone and email with your writer, their manager, and an editing manager. Upon receipt of our first draft, you thanked the writer for their great work but expressed dissatisfaction with the fact that they had omitted certain elements of your career history. You asked about why it was done and they explained their strategic rationale. In turn, you still objected so the writing team assured you that they would happily revise their work to re-include it as you requested. No other specific complaint appears to have been raised but we remain happy to revise our work in just about any way you request!
For those reading this review, I have uploaded a copy of the work we did for this client to: www.resumewritinggroup.com/ourwork.pdf (Of course, with personal information omitted).... If you agree that this is not a resume to be "proud" of and only worth 2 out of 5 stars...then--I must copncur that James is right and you probably would not be happy with our work on your own resume either...but if you see this as a great resume in need of little to no additional work, then you are probably likely to benefit from...and find great satisfaction in our resume writing services!
Re: not having a direct phone number to your writer's desk....While that would seem to be a wonderful idea at first thought, it's simply not possible for any real writing company to offer a direct line answered immediately by their writers. As expected, professional resume writers spend most of their work day deeply focused on....well, on **writing resumes.** If they were to stop working on one client's resume every few minutes to be interrupted by phone calls regarding the resumes of other clients....their work would be confused and stalled. Therefore, writers take breaks between resume projects to correspond with their clients. It's still a fast process but it's more of an appointment-based one. Look at it this way: If you had an appointment at a massage clinic, you wouldn't be able to directly call your assigned masseuse while they're in massaging other clients, right ? Same general idea applies here but our writers, as you experienced, are certainly available to discuss your resume...as long as it's between projects during "client call/email time!" - Make sense?
Please let us know if you have any other questions or need any other revisions at all. We want you to succeed in all of your career goals.
Sincerely, Andrew A. Greenstein The Resume Writing Group

Dear Andrew,
In tracking your IP, it looks very suspiciously as though you ARE one of the owners of the website you're recommending---but I'll "bite."
This was an unusual order in which you, the client--sent very little information and were seeking a job "as a painter" using your experience...as you put it ..."as a painter." On multiple occasions, we emailed you, called you, and let you voice mails to interview you for more information to make the best professional resume possible for you--given your stated goals. You ignored our voice mails and then finally sent us a 3 sentence email reply with scant information. We advised that you we would really need to speak to you to get more information to make your new resume shine. You declined. We sent you a draft of our work. It contained the following language which you have now described as being at the level of "a grammar school child."
· Highly-skilled and experienced painter with a strong background managing interior and exterior projects
· Exterior painting experience includes all substrates such as wood, stucco, vinyl and aluminum
· Interior painting experience includes interior drywall, plaster and woodwork
· Strong background managing power washing projects
· Experience installing pre-cast beams, columns and panels, as well as other structures
.· Outstanding safety record with no major accidents or incidents recorded
Upon receipt of your new resume, you advised us that you showed it to a professional who told you that it needed a lot more information/experience. That's EXACTLY what we'd been telling you all along!! You then proceeded to yell at the writer, insult them, and blame the lack of information on them. Nevertheless, they remained quite polite and offered to still have a conversation with you...to get more information from you...and add more to the resume. You declined ... and then magically paid THREE DOLLARS for a resume from a company you appear to own. Hmmm....

Hi Leslie,
Thank you for your order and your subsequent review! Whenever we initially email a new resume, it is intended to be a *first draft* for you to review and comment. We then take your feedback and create the final, letter-perfect document. In this case, I do see you replied to our initial draft with the following feedback:
1. A question about whether or not to include your academic minor--which we repsonded to immediately
2. Notification that we had used the word "proves" where we should've used the word "proven." We apologized immediately and sent you back a corrected copy right away.
I certainly hope you love the final draft of your resume but please understand that having to correct just one letter here or there in the first, rough draft of an entire writing project is generally considered to be pretty good :-)
Please let us know if we can help you with your career in any other way!
Sincerely,
Andrew Greenstein

Dear Aaron,
Thank you for your order. I'm very sorry...and even upset...that you're so dissatisfied with the Federal resume we created on your behalf. I see that you spoke on the telephone with one of our managers at length (Jeannie) and basically attempted to blackmail her that we would "suffer online" if we didn't give into a series of angry demands. I'm sorry but we simply do not work that way. We would LOVE to help with your career but I must emphasize that we are also humans...and are working diligently on your behalf to provide an exceptional product & service.
It is important that your concerns be addressed and the truth be clarified. All of your tickets were answered. In fact, you responded directly to each of our responses -- acknowledging them! When you "screamed" at us by email, we had Jeannie call you...and you continued to yell at her despite her offering to revise, fix, or do whatever you like to make your resume exceptional in your eyes.
The original resume you submitted to us contained formatting that is absolutely unacceptable when applying for U.S. Federal positions! We had a team carefully review the 5 lengthy documents you submitted to us. We completely reformatted your resume into an ATS/Federal compliant document that adheres to today's standards.
I assure you that there was absolutely no "copy/pasting." Sure, the jobs & responsibilities will not change from your old resume to the new one...because it's your career history and it is still the same...but each point was carefully re-written with your new career goals and current Federal resume standards in mind. For example, the old resume you submitted to us read:
*"COO requested LTAC financial review; uncovered 15 critical errors; proposed corrections with budgetary concerns· Analyzed investment for RN training program; addressed negative trends; projected $32K in program savings· Developed simplified annual Diagnosis Related Group Codes review; reduced inspection requirements by 15 hours"
---the new resume we wrote after communicating with you reads:
"In this assignment, reported directly to Directors of Business Development, Education, Facility and Quality Management; successfully met daily assignments and served in variety of assigned projects. Was tasked by COO to develop LTAC financial review; surfaced 15 critical errors and proposed corrections with budgetary concerns. Also analyzed proposed investment for RN training program, including assessing negative trends; projected $32K in program savings. Designed simplified annual Diagnosis Related Group Codes review that reduced inspection requirements by 15 hours."
Examples like this go on throughout the ENTIRE five page resume we prepared at your request. Thus, it's quite disheartening to read that you feel we hardly worked on your resume when we analyzed five documents you submitted in their entirety, had frequent back-and-forth communication with you, spent quite a bit of time on the phone with you, and then re-wrote an entire 5 page resume and completely re-formatted. In my honest opinion, that's not bad for $200! The rest of the fee goes to the LinkedIn Profile re-write which we informed you cannot be done until we have your OK.
All that said, we are HAPPY to revise your new resume for you and work with you until you LOVE but you need to just let us know what you see as deficient. While we respect your apparent dissatisfaction, screaming on the phone at hard-working representatives and typing angry emails stating that we "copy & pasted" your resume--do not give us anything to work with. I'm available at 352-978-6122 to discuss your resume. If you don't want to proceed with the LinkedIn Profile we can certainly refund that portion of your order but the rest of the work was successfully completed after many grueling hours were spent and, as per our terms of service, we are now limited to revisions and continued assistance.
I hope this helps and we can make you happy with your new resume.
Sincerely,
Andrew A. Greenstein

First, for those reading this response, since the website will not allow attachments I have created a public post on Facebook and will be linking it here that consists of 15 screen captures of the resume "written" for me with a direct comparison that is highlighted in exact words copied or used (their info on top, my information below) of the previous resume I gave, my EPRs from only 2008, 2011, and 2013 and a direct paste of my medals/awards/professional organizations from LinkedIn (my supposed 5th page that is less than half). I invite everyone reading to please see that my claim is accurate in the essential cutting and pasting. Facebook album entitled "Essentially Copy and Pasted."
https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10212537198597527.1073741833.1010144442&type=1&l=312a0ded90
Mr. Greenstein,
In my life I have never been so motivated to ensure the truth is cleared up, as you have attacked my integrity, a core value I lived by in the military for 23 years 8 months. Let's address each item you mentioned. Since my account has been suspended visible on the 15th slide let's review everything top down you have said. The conversation with your manager was actually pleasant and she even admitted that what happened should not have occurred, and that the writer was inexperienced. Yes, she did offer to have someone else write it that is more familiar and I simply said I was already a week behind. I planned on using my new resume for scheduled career and job fairs, as well applications of jobs that will now be closed due to the time wasted. As for the money I have already paid, I would not go forward without a partial refund to have another “more familiar” actual veteran write it. In my opinion that person should have been assigned in the first place and a notice stating it may take a bit longer, what is the best contact number, sent out. Now, the mention of me trying to blackmail your company is appalling sir. My discussion with her was calm and we even talked about why I chose the company looking at reviews over many different websites showing you at the top or in the top 5. Your statement of “suffer online” makes me think you have me confused with I am sure a very different client that is just as upset with the treatment you are giving or you perceived her words incorrectly. I didn't even mention doing a review to her. If you have a recording of the conversation I would love to hear it. So as for my angry demands it was a simple discussion of how my tickets are still open. I can happily add each ticket screen capture in as I did for the rest. I copied each last night before you suspended my account. Next, I only had one correspondence sent directly to me and that was to address duty titles and certain bullets not matching EPRs to my resume. I responded promptly as in within two hours and explained how that information works as well manning documents do not always allow for the job you are fulfilling and to look for such in the additional duties section as well I provided an attachment showing further information. My response went unanswered or at minimum acknowledged in email. Again, that was the only request your personnel sent my way. What of the tickets I put in. Let’s start with 147059 Open 7-Nov, expanding information. No response to me. Ticket 305161 requesting a call. No call. Ticket 431272. The only response to that, is now in this forum only, telling me I am yelling at your employees using the verbiage “essentially copied and pasted.” Look again at the comparison pictures in the album created just for you and this reason. So again, the only call I ever received was only after I left a voice message at 18004663076 not when I supposedly “yelled” at your people through email. She was prompt in returning that call. I only wish sir your personnel would put the creative writing passion you have into this response as well the quick turnaround into my actual federal resume. I am a bit confused on the new resume we wrote after communicating with me part. No one communicated such to me until my resume was completed and that communication came in a “it’s now ready, click here and login in” link. Same with your comment above about frequent back and forth. That sir never occurred. Again, if you have the conversations recorded I would love to here them but since they don’t exist that will be challenging. No one rewrote a resume. You provided mine to me in essentially the exact same wording (please again use the link above to see what I mean, minus formatting changes and larger font). I made this response up in roughly an hour so as for grueling hours spent writing my resume with a team of people? Quoting you for a second “each point was carefully re-written with your new career goals and current Federal resume standards in mind”. Where are the career goals focused or honed that makes it beyond obvious that this was a complete rewrite and not a cut and paste. With a suspended account I cannot do anything. I am expecting a refund still sit as said chase has also been informed and the paperwork for reimbursement is in process.

As you put a second note, so will I... Yes I see I was not charged for the LinkedIn but the total in services is 248.95 yet I was charged 284.85 which is a difference of 35.90. If that is a tax rate, why is it 12.6%?

I find it fascinating that your accusation has been downgraded from "(you) copy/pasted my whole resume" to "(you) essentially copy/pasted portions of my resume."
In my professional opinion, the images you uploaded to your Facebook make it abundantly clear that our writing team did not copy and paste anything at all! First, you highlight your own name and address info; OF COURSE, that hasn't changed. We didn't move you to a new house or get you a new telephone number, right? We DID change the layout of that portion, however, as your original included not-so-employment-friendly colors & format. The rest of your photos show that 2 words here and 3 words there are the same as they are in your original resume. Again: OF COURSE they are...Facts and figures like $32,000 don't generally change from client to writer. Clear descriptions of jobs you did do not change. EXAMPLE 1:This is copy and pasting a sentence from one source to another. This is copy and pasting a sentence from one source to another.EXAMPLE 2:This is NOT copy and pasting a sentence from one source to another. This sample would be indicative of something not copy/pasted from one source to another. The fact that "one source to another" (which is longer than most of your highlighted examples)...is identical clearly doesn't mean the sentence was "just copy pasted." It means that we re-wrote your material as hired to do...using the same FACTS and IDEAS because it's still about YOU and YOUR career history. Analogy: If you go to the barber for a haircut, they cut and restyle but the hair that remains is still YOUR hair on YOUR head!
Since I wasn''t privy to the phone conversation, I cannot continue except to note that the same claim of angry tirades came from independent representatives who handled your emails and your phone call--none who have any team reliance upon each other and none who have any history in their 10+ year tenures of making false reports regarding client treatment.
The price difference is the experience level field for 10-20 years of exp--as described on our order form and as selected by you when you placed your order.
The tickets you sent in rapid succession inherently demanding immediate responses were all answered together with one bulk reply. Subsequent responses were separate. It is possible some communication went to your junk mail folder.
We are trying to help you but we did the work we were contracted to do (5+ pages worth) and have offered to assist further. At the time of sale, you agreed to our terms of service which reflect this accurately. Your posts now say that you wish to break that contract and not pay for services rendered. We have no choice but to reply to your bank accordingly with our stated terms which are designed in accordance with MasterCard/Visa International's policy for "no refund" merchants. We will also take up your conduct and breach of contract with your superior officer where applicable. We certainly have no interest nor any motivation to "argue" with a customer but you continue to degrade our work, make inaccurate accusations ("they just copy pasted my old resume") about the work done by hard-working people whose jobs are potentially at stake, and to threaten to breach our contract which in no uncertain terms stated that we will send you a draft of your resume to review and have revised but that once work has been performed, refunds are not an option.

Mr. Greenstein,
I must say I applaud your quick turn around each and every time within hours of my responses, along with a consistent passionate effort put into defending your personnel. I just wish all of your personnel had the same response initiative. It is sad that the only responses to my inquires again come here and not within the resume website as all my tickets showed open with no responses to regular or junk mail as you hinted at. Speaking of such, you mentioned that I downgraded my claim. Here I couldn't add essentially to my title as I used 75 of 75 characters but on your website my ticket number 431272 states "The supposed work done for my federal resume is essentially a cut and paste from the enlisted performance reports..." As for your personnel making false claims. I don't think they have made any of such. I believe you are here to silence and do your best to ridicule those that put a negative comment as your words of blackmail and suffer" are extreme. Returning to the resume, I just don't understand how you don't see your writers changing a word of two in several locations even lessening the meaning of what was there originally. There were also errors mentioned in the screen captures as well repetitive information duplicated. Five pages is top to bottom. My fifth pages is word for word copied from once source to another (LinkedIn). Also on the portion of some things are the same, thank you for not changing my name or moving me into a different home as you pointed out. Yes you mentioned that some information would not change. I simply highlighted what was exactly the same. I challenge you to count up the words that were minutely changed or synonyms (again many weaker forms of the words originally given). I guess I should find a resume formatting service and not a writing service as again that is what I received when you look at the what is estimated at less than 5% in changes. You previously mentioned that my resume written was painstakingly worked upon to address my goals. Again where exactly is that done for me by your company? I only hope it wasn't in the degraded synonyms of the again less than 5% of actual writing changes if even that. I am enjoying our back and forth and again this is how I would have hoped my experience would have been but again to remind you and those reading this there wasn't anything but one message to me that I responded to even positively saying that I am excited to get this done and I hope that it is given the respect and attention deserved. Again this could have possibly continued through the website if my account wasn't suspended but again lets focus on the point that the only direct back and forth and I mean more than me replying to one of your writers quickly and never a response to my inquires in reverse has to be done here because it's public. Again to quote you, "The tickets you sent in rapid succession inherently demanding immediate responses were all answered together with one bulk reply." That sir is here and here only. I await your next reply and shift of focus from what I continue to point out.

Hi Beverly,
Thanks for your note. I understand you have not yet received your resume. The reason for this is that your request was missing some key information that we requested. In addition to e-mailing you, Amber and Marilyn have both telephoned you on several occasions. As of your last correspondence, you stated that you were too busy with work to answer questions and you requested that we wait a week (until this week) to contact you. Kindly consider amending your "1 star" review as we have not done any work for you and have waiting to contact you until this week as you requested : )
