This has been a freak event and normally we would have taken the ship out of service but unfortunately with Red Osprey in refit it would have meant cancelling her sailings and causing even more inconvenience. The ships engineers in conjunction with external contractors were working throughout to rectify the problem which requires the dismantling of quite a lot of pipework. In hindsight, we should have warned customers prior to boarding so apologies for this and the obvious inconvenience.

The regulations require working toilet/washroom facilities for the sale of F&B items. The ships engineers in conjunction with external contractors were working throughout the day to rectify the problem which requires the dismantling of quite a lot of pipework. We do sincerely apologise for the inconvenience to guests.
