You are right about the Via de la Plata route being more challenging and less traveled than a lot of other Camino routes, we would recommend it to pilgrims/walkers who have done previous walks and have more hiking experience. We note your comment about choice of hotels close to the route, it can sometimes be difficult to get suitable accommodation right on the Camino route in certain locations - they may not exist or be booked out, or not the quality that the client is looking for. This is where our Camino Experts can guide people in their choice of hotels and make sure they meet different requirements. Hi thereAs you noticed this route is not as popular as the other sections of the Camino that you have walked. This route along the coast passes through towns that do not rely solely on the Camino and so are busier than what you would have experienced on the other Camino's you have walked.In regards to directions to the accommodations on the hotel vouchers there are maps showing you exactly where the hotel is in relation to the Camino and for your booking most of the hotels where either on the Camino or very near by. We will however review the information given here to assist people with finding their accommodation as we do want this to be easy for people after a day walking.
