Hi,I am so sorry if you did not find our staff to be friendly, generally we have very good feedback about how helpful our staff are so i can only apologise if that was not your experience. The staff member in question is generally complimented on how happy she always sounds (people ask if there is something in the water) so whilst i cannot comment on this specific incident that is not feedback i have ever had before. We have however taken it on board so thank you for letting us know. In regards to the Jar, we are limited in what we can do. In the literature that comes with the order we suggest testing the jar with water first as vibrations can mean that the tap needs a tighten. We currently add two large stickers to the front of the packaging to let you know about the vibrations and the check the tap and that they cannot be used with hot liquids. Legally we cannot do as you suggested and stick it on the manufacturer's box, that is why we stick it to the packaging and the manufacturer already has a warning about it on their box. The manufacturer (kilner) suggest checking the tap when you wash the jar (This is on the manufacturers instructions on the box for the product, on the side with a diagram) as sometimes you can loosen it while cleaning it, so again i can only apologise if you did not see any of the notices and instructions. Whilst we are very sorry that this happened sadly as the manufacturer's instructions were not followed we cannot replace the tea and the sugar.
