Many thanks for taking the time to review this popular route. The optional diversion via Kalterersee does indeed involve a bit more climbing but we think the wonderful views, as you descend towards the lake, make it all worthwhile. The ferry ride the length of Lake Garda is both spectacular and a welcome opportunity to relax after the morning ride from Trento.

Excellent - many thanks for the lovely review Julia. GPX tracks are definitely the way to go if you have a smartphone and as long as you download the route before leaving home you don't even use any of your data allowance during the rides.

Many thanks and good advice regarding the training.

Couldn't ask for more - thanks Linda!

We're glad you enjoyed the holiday overall Peter and appreciate the constructive feedback. The bikes are checked before each outing and we're very sorry that two of the milometers on your group's bikes were not working. Our local supplier tells us he would have been happy to rectify this issue if it had been reported to him at any point during the holiday. Your recommendations regarding navigation errors are very much appreciated and rest assured that all are being addressed in the forthcoming revised road books for this route.

Many thanks for the constructive review. We agree that unless you are super-fit e-bikes are worth considering for this scenic but reasonably hilly route.

Thanks for this constructive feedback which has been fed back to our local supplier.

Thank you so much Steve and great tip regarding Krimml Falls.
