Thank you for your feedback about small group Grand canal boat tour - indeed only smaller boats can access the canal so we operate the tour with max 8/9 people per boat therefore the tour is considered a small group tour. The tour actually operates rain or shine all year round as the boats are covered so you can visit anyway and don't depend on the weather. We are glad you enjoyed the tour! First of all, thank you for the feedback about your Italian vacation package you provided. We will be happy to forward your comments to our guides as well as the cook in Siena - that's excellent news you enjoyed the cooking class!Usually it's one of the highlights of the trips - perhaps you would like to share some of the pics from your trip on our FB page, also from the cooking class if you took any? You are more than welcome! Regarding the two transfers to and from Siena Fabio and Matteo are our best drivers in Tuscany and they certainly can speak good English as they often work with VIP clients from overseas and they are also respectful drivers who, if they see the customer is asleep, will not talk about surrounding area and disturb the sleeping passengers. Situations on the roads can be unpredictable in case of big trucks and lorries as already explained in the email we sent you directly. Rest assured your safety is our top priority on the transfers! All the hotels we work with are carefully selected and inspected by us so your comments are surprising. In any case we will of course verify with the management of each property to ensure the quality of their services is as advertised. Rooms were provided as per your paperwork, in Venice you were actually upgraded to more expensive rooms without any extra charge. Dear Rosanna, thank your for your feedback about our guides in Rome and in Venice. The tours we operate in both cities are different - the Rome tour is more like a semi-private tour with a smaller group so fo course this allow the guides to provide a lot of interesting details. Our Venice tour is an introductory tour to Venice so of course the guide needs to balance the tour contents to include a bit of all - story, architecture, funny facts. We offer also more specific tours like the Doges Palace tour or Hidden Venice if you are interested in exploring a particular part of Venice.
