Thank you for your feedback. We tailor our itineraries to meet specific requirements and often specifics on itineraries can change throughout the booking process. Due to this it can take time to settle on exactly what is to be booked however we always reply very fast and apply the most practical means necessary to ensure trips are arranged without fault. As with all bookings, hotels are subject to availability and as such it is not that hotels were changed, it is that we booked the best available on your dates. The notes provided for the Via Francigena are the best available on the market at the moment however we are continuously working to improve these and are happy to hear you found the way well sign-posted.
