Very poor service, delivery slow and then item did not arrive so rather than sorting it out a refund was offered so I then had to re-order from another supplier. I will not be using you again.

Firstly, please accept my sincere apologies over any inconvenience this may have caused. At the Post Office Shop, our Customer Experience is paramount.
I have been looking into your order and upon investigation it appears that your items were returned to ourselves as a delivery was unable to be made to you. In light of this, once your order was returned to ourselves the goods were returned to stock.
Once goods are returned to use, we are unable to distinguish if these items have been returned by a customer or due to non-delivery and the default setting for this is to refund your items. I can see that your refund was generated on 02.10.2013 and refunds can take up to 5 working days to be processed by your bank or building society.
Once again, please accept my sincere apologies over any inconvenience this may have caused you.

Sally, just to follow up on your comments above, the delivery was made to the wrong address, no delivery was attempted here and no effort made to contact us to check, this is why I am unhappy with the service, why ask for contact details and not bother to use them?
This order was for postage stamps, This had a direct impact on my business as I had a delay of several days whilst waiting for them to be delivered, I cannot afford delays of this nature so I have no choice but to use suppliers that can be relied upon.

I once again apolgise wholeheartedly that you feel this way about the service you received.
I would like to take this opportunity to point out that The Post Office Shop and Royal Mail are separate entities however I do understand how frustrating this may have been for you. I'm afraid that once your item has been dispatched into the care of Royal Mail we no longer have control over the delivery of your item.
When Royal Mail deliveries are dispatched from our warehouse we have no way of tracking the delivery to establish whether delivery was attempted and to what address that delivery was attempted to.
However in light of your comments I will forward your order information and the feedback you have given to the relevant channel to work towards improving the quality of service you receive.

Here at the Post Office Shop, we take our Customer Experience very seriously. In light of this I have performed a full audit on your order with us.
Your order was placed on 26.09.2013 at 17:45, unfortunately you missed the cut off for same day dispatch on your order. In light of this your order was processed and dispatched for delivery by Royal Mail on 27.09.2013.
Royal Mail deliveries from ourselves can take up to five working days to be received. As your goods were dispatched on a Friday from our warehouse that would result in the extra delay over that subsequent weekend.
I can appreciate how frustrating the extra delay may have been, however I am afraid it was unavoidable in this instance.

I required something urgent and it was delayed by an overly detailed payment process for businesses. They required our registered address, business number etc. No other suppleir requires this info....
