Ciao, Thank you for sharing your feedback! While it is not possible to change seats on your order with Basic fare, I have verified that your seats are together at a table by a window, which is an excellent way to travel! We understand that asking AI can be easy, but it does not always provide accurate information; if you have questions about your seating arrangements, you can always ask our team of experts, who is available 24/7. Have a wonderful trip, and if anything else comes up, please let us know! Warmest regards, Micaela M. Traveler Experience Agent

Thank you for your feedback. To clarify, ItaliaRail is an authorized partner of Trenitalia, and has been for over 20 years — we're the world's largest seller of Italian train tickets outside of Italy. Trenitalia's focus is on domestic rail travel, and they rely on partners like us to serve international travelers with the support that a global audience needs. That includes English-speaking customer support available 24/7, immediate refunds when trains are delayed or cancelled due to strikes (rather than the months-long process that's common booking direct), multiple currency options, no booking fees, and pricing in line with Trenitalia — plus extras like a complimentary Italy Magazine subscription and discounts on tours. We're proud of the trust we've built with travelers over the past 20 years, reflected in more than 75,000 five-star reviews, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts.
