Thanks for your query. We're sorry for the apparent mismatch between initial upgrade estimation and the actual cost and the concern this must have caused you. Fares within business class can vary significantly in the lead up to a flight’s departure, and at the time you expressed interest in enquiring, seat prices were only available at the upper end of the anticipated price range. The Buenos Aires route is unfortunately also a particularly expensive route on which to upgrade your seat class, and the cost of upgrading is considerably higher than the average expected flight upgrade cost of about £1500.
