Your leader Karen has both many years of experience as a tour leader as well as being an Italian specialist; there are always going to be comparisons when we have two parallel groups operating with different leaders from the same base (and we're aware groups often become very supportive or their group and tour leader). Thanks for your feedback and we're glad you enjoyed the sights of Sicily despite the heat! Over the years we've taken the advice of previous leaders and clients and tried a few variations of this popular holiday to make the best use of our time on the island. The current itinerary provides a nice circuit and removes the need for a long transfer before taking the return flight home; the third night here allows for a second full day of sightseeing in and around this great Sicilian city. We have also been getting favourable reports of the meals service too in Palermo, however we'll keep a we will keep a close eye on the restaurant service. Moving on to Syracuse, we just have one meal on arrival at the hotel here rather than having to rush out to a local restaurant after the transfer.
