I am so sorry you only received your dispatch email after your plants had been delivered. I know how disappointing it is for your plants to arrive with no notice. I hope they are in the ground and are settling into their new home. Hawthorn is a native, deciduous species, so they will lose their leaves during autumn and will look rather sorry for themselves over autumn/winter. In spring they burst back into leaf again and will eventually produce berries. So extra wildlife should hopefully be coming into your garden soon. During the spring they produce tiny white flowers that are popular with butterflies and bees and during winter they produce small red berries that hungry birds love. So extra wildlife should hopefully be coming into your garden soon.
