I'm sorry to hear that you are unhappy with the service provided by forward2me however I can see that forward2me have dealt with your shipment promptly, the shipment was dispatched on the same we received payment however it appears that there has been a problem with import clearance in your country. Unfortunately we have no control over the length of time customs take to clear goods especially in other countries. I do believe that customs in Germany have a major backlog since Brexit, often if information for import clearance is not provided promptly this can hold the shipment up for some time. I see that once the shipment was released by customs in Germany the packages have been delivered within 24 hours. I'm sorry to hear that your parcel arrived in this condition, this must have been disappointing for you, it is for us too especially that this was your first experience with us. When we dispatch shipments we do our very best to ensure that packages are safe and secure before dispatching them however we have no control over the way the parcels are handled once they have left us, we are in the hands of the couriers. I see that you haven't reported this situation to our customer service team so I have asked one of the agents to contact you directly by email to investigate this situation fully so we understand what has happened. For the cost, I see that you have shipped two soft toys, shipping fees are calculated on the amount of space the shipment takes up, this is called the volumetric weight. The fees would only be calculated on the actual weight of the goods if the actual weight was higher than the volumetric weight. With items such as soft toys although they can be very light in weight, they often have a higher volumetric weight due to their size. We do offer a combine and repack service which can be chosen via your inbox when shipping. When this service is chosen our warehouse team evaluate the package to see if they can repack and reduce the overall size, this can often help reduce the overall cost of shipping.
