First off sincere apologies if you found the staff brusque, it is not a complaint I here often and we pride ourselves on making sure our customers receive a good experience.
The 0800 number is a nuisance but it does allow customers from anywhere in the UK to call a local call rates. Also at the bottom of the emails you were sent from Debbie she did give you a direct line to call her personally.
Regarding the your ring......I am glad you loved it when you received it and I am sorry for the confusion when your order was placed.
Without boring you with too much detail we had a batch of new rings made and the stockroom had not entered them into the system at the time of your order.
Once we realized the mistake you ring was immediately dispatched hence the quick turn around.
Thanks again for the feedback and I am sorry you felt disappointed enough to voice your concerns through this review.

I was quite surprised and a quite mollified to receive the feedback from Mr Ingram, and his comments do help my understanding.
I understand what happened to my purchase and I think I would have been much less peeved if some of this could have been communicated to me at the time. Mr Ingram must understand that from my point of view, I was quite unsure as to the legitimacy of this company, having been ripped off several times by internet vendors in the past, and for my first touch-points with the company seemed to support this: very difficult to get through, lack of information, no call backs etc etc. I actually wondered if I'd just lost my money. On several occasions I had very long waits on my mobile phone for a rather unapologetic or understanding operative while calling from abroad. I understand the number may have been on e-mail, but unfortunately I am a pilot and I don't always have access to e-mail where I am.
At the end of the day I only level this feedback so that Mr Ingram can perhaps understand a little from the customers perspective what has happened. I would not unnecessarily complain without reason.
However, there is one thing that we are BOTH agreed on. The ring was fantastic, and my partner continues to be delighted with it. If I could deal with Mr Ingram every time I would have no hesitation to return again.

I am sure that F 1/2 is the smallest ring we have made this year and I am proud of the fact that most jewellers are simply not set up to make rings in unusual sizes!
