Your policy was renewed on Friday the 4th and at 5:47 PM we have sent an email with your new certificate attached as requested, I have copied this email below. Regards, Sam Simpkins Renewals Advisor When we send documents to a hotmail address they almost always end up in your junk folder as hotmail will see its from a company and assume its spam. Unfortunately nothing can be done regarding this so when expecting emails please check your junk folder, also you will find the above email in there from Friday. Good morning, Thank you for your feedback and your continued business, it is disappointing to hear you are not totally satisfied so we have looked into your record in full for the last few years. Your policy is a commercial contract of insurance, due to this they do not carry a 14 day cooling off period. This is the same for all Taxi policies available on the market and not due to us or the insurer you are insured with. Also with the credit card charges, this is very common in the market and has been for a long time. We have always avoided these charges until this year due to increased bank charges for administering card payments. Although your agent could not remove this charge we do feel that we have have offered a very competitive price which is the lowest we are physically able to do. Also we have reduced our broker fee and not charged for splitting your payments which usually carries a £40 fee for your policy. I would like to thank you again for your business. Thank you for renewing your cover with Plan Insurance Brokers and for providing feedback regarding our service and product. As you are aware, we have moved you to a new insurer this year following Service Insurance removing themselves from the Motor Trade Market. Regrettably therefore it is not always possible to match the exact cover provided by one insurer and mirror it through another company. I can however confirm that in this instance, the cover provided by Tradewise Insurance is identical to that of your previous insurer. The Indemnity levels, vehicle restrictions and various other extensions are the same, but I do appreciate that the price has not dropped as expected, following the addition of a year no claims discount. We have in our opinion offered you our most competitive quotation without scrimping on cover. In respect of your vehicles not showing on the Motor Insurance Database (MID), it is very common for there to be a delay when moving vehicles from one insurer to another. Unlike a renewal with an existing insurer they are not carried over automatically and must be submitted a fresh by the new provider. I can confirm that since you submitted your feedback, 3 of the 4 vehicles confirmed at renewal are now showing as insured on the MID. I am afraid that the 4th vehicle was unacceptable due to its nature and I understand that my colleague has discussed this matter with you via telephone earlier today. You have confirmed that you have now arranged a log in to the insurer’s website where you can manage your vehicles directly, without any involvement from ourselves. If you experience any difficulties with the website or have any issues with vehicles not showing on the MID in future, then please do not hesitate to contact the office and we will try and resolve these for you.
