Thanks for your very useful feedback about the sheet. Due to this we have now purchased some extra deep fitted sheets for the double bed which have solved the problem. Unfortunately, the bin men do miss the bins sometimes. The cottage cleaners check the bins on Saturdays and take the rubbish away if needs be.

I did not have a copy of what I had booked so was having to ring…
I did not have a copy of what I had booked so was having to ring to confirm everything. There does not seem to be a way of checking anything on line

Many thanks for your kind comments. We are glad you had a wonderful holiday and enjoyed having your own boat. When customers book online in advance (as you did) we send: an automated order confirmation with all the booking details, an email from a staff member to say the order has been received, an initial confirmation of booking letter through the post and a final confirmation letter with all the directions and key details for the property. This system seems to work well in most cases and we are always happy to answer any further queries by phone or email. In the future we may move to a system where customers can log-in to view their bookings but at present this facility isn't available.

Cornish Quay Holidays is a family business offering around fifty charming waterside and country self-catering holiday cottages in Cornwall for UK holidays at any time of year. Many of the cottages have superb sea or harbour views and are around the Fowey Estuary which is renowned for its stunning coastal walks, secluded coves and beautiful scenery. The Fowey area has numerous quaint shops and unspoilt beaches and plenty of places to enjoy a meal or a quiet drink in the evenings. The Eden Project at St Austell is within five miles and lots of other interesting places are nearby. Take a look at our full range of quality self-catering holiday cottages, houses and flats sleeping 2 to 10 people. We have properties in and around Fowey, Polruan, Lerryn, Bodinnick, Lanteglos, Mixtow, Lostwithiel, Looe, Downderry and St Austell Bay. Children are welcome at all but a few of the properties and some accept pets. At many of the cottages you can even hire a boat and get out on the water yourself. We can help you arrange a last minute holiday or a short break.
