Very Nice Tours, Very Knowledgeable, Enjoyable

I liked going direct. It was fairly easy to find them at the meeting spot but they really need to have a sign on a post where they stand. Once a few people are in front of them you have no idea that...

Dear Client, thank you for your feedback. It seems that overall you are satisfied with the tours since you gave us 4 stars. Our meeting point is located at the entrance to the Royal Garden, just 100 m from St Mark's square therefore the location is very central and easy to find. We meet at the main entrance next to the a big iron gate. Our meeting point assistant has a brown sign with our logo and tour name written on it. Naturally we are in peak season so there are a lot of people checking in hence we strongly recommend arriving early, at least 15 min before tour departure time. We are not responsible for flight delays, this is beyond our control. Spots are booked for a specific tour and date and last minute changes may not be feasible unless we can resell your original spots in order to move you to the following day ( if available). We normally offer coming on stand by as there is always someone who is a no show - in such case it is possible to accommodate you as it seems was the case of your booking. I understand that all three tours met your expectations and the price was acceptable. Thank you for booking with us!

Best regards

Aleksandra

Dear Client, We are sorry to read your expectations were not completely met. Our guide has been with our company for over ten years - she is an experienced and knowledgeable professional and receives many positive reviews online. The full name of the tour is Venice ghost and legends tour. I don't know the details of your previous trips or what type of tours you attended in the past. Consider that not all the countries are the same - ghost tours that run in for example Scotland are completely different than tours operated in Italy. Tours operated in Anglo-Saxon countries like UK or USA often concentrate on the scary part and include going underground at cemeteries or similar locations. Venice is a completely different reality and has a different story to tell - our tour includes the Hidden Venice - we explore the narrow alleys, small campi ( squares - some of them are built above old cemeteries), less touristy parts of Venice. We include several ghost legends like for example the tale of Marco Polo's wife. Our guides are aware of the tour itinerary and include all the stories advertised on the website. I presume you read our full tour description online, correct? Periodically we run checks on how our guides perform and we didn't see anything amiss about your guide's performance on tours. II understand you simply had different expectations likely based on your previous travel experiences in different countries. Best regards, Aleksandra Sales Dept

Thank you for your feedback - it looks like the tour name is not showing correctly. Our request was referring to the Custom Private Portofino, Santa Margherita and coastal sightseeing from Milan you arranged with our sales team - it looks like you are referring to a different tour which was not booked with us. Could you provide your feedback regarding the custom trip, please?

Had a great experience booking my Portofino and Santa Margherita trip directly with Marianna who was prompt in her email responses. She was also helpful in organising my private tour.

Thank you for your feedback. Our Grand tour of Venice consists of 3 independent tours - Doges Palace which usually operates with max 22/25 people per guide, Essence of Venice tour with max 12/14people per guide and the Grand canal boat tour max 8/9 people per boat. I can see that for some reason you didn't attend our Essence of Venice tour but showed up for a different tour - 11.10 am Original Venice walk which operates with a bigger group. I have no record on file as to why you opted for the 11.10 am departure instead - did you have other plans for the afternoon? You were scheduled for the 5 pm departure of the boat tour however it looks like you showed up an hour earlier hence the guides advised you to wait for your departure at 5 pm. We use best radios that are currently available in Venice - to be frank hardly ever do we have any issues with them - were they ok during the sound check before departure? Our guides carry a spare pair in case of need. It seems however that overall you are mostly satisfied with the experience?

Thank you so much for your enthusiastic 5-star review of our small group tour to the Dolomites! We are truly very pleased to read this was one of the best experiences of your life! The mountains are indeed stunning and we strongly suggest to anyone staying in Venice for more than just 1-2 days to take this side day trip as it's definitely worth it! Thanks for your recommendation!
