Dear Miss Taylor, I am sorry that you have not been happy with our service. We have tried to assist you with your situation but unfortunately, the terms set by Premium Credit are out of our remit. We have always used the services of Premium Credit Ltd to fund the policies paid monthly and we do advise customers of this via the application process. We are sorry to hear of the difficulties you experienced on your recent claim. This is not the usual experience for our policyholders. We have reviewed the emails between yourself and the claims team and can see that the delay was initially caused due to the late receipt of your pet’s clinical history. As we’re sure you can appreciate, without this information a claim cannot be assessed. With regards to the out-of-hours treatment costs, we do cover these, but only if the treatment is deemed life threatening. Again, it is normal for a vet to state this on the claim form but it would appear that this was not clearly defined.We sincerely hope you never find yourself in that frightening situation in future, but please contact our Administration Team who will be more than happy to assist where possible.Kind regards, Team VMC
