Thanks for your feedback. Kerri-Ann has called and left a message that hopefully reassures you a little. Policy wordings and small print are, unfortunately, something of a necessary evil. We do our best to decode and explain as much as we can, but the wordings are the insurer's and we can't change them. We know they can be hard to get to grips with, and we know that's not very helpful. If you let me know which two things you had problems with, I'll make sure you get a full explanation of both. Please rest assured your cover in no way depends on your company status. There's no 'exemption to cover' clause just because you're a sole trader, registered or otherwise. The insurer is covering what your business does for paying clients. Whether you're a limited company, a partnership, or on your own has no bearing on a claim. As always, if you're not sure of something, your best option is to call us. We'll happily go through anything you don't understand – word by word if needs be.
