Fuchsia is a deciduous plant so will lose its leaves over autumn/winter and during the summer will produce stunning purple and pink bell-shaped flowers. You mentioned you were concerned about the Dog Rose you received, so I do hope now they are in the ground they have picked up and are settling into their new home. Dog Rose is a hardy, native plant. As it is deciduous it will have lost its leaves over autumn/winter, in spring lots of healthy green leaves will have pushed through and in summer they will produce pink and white flowers that will attract lots of butterflies 🦋 and bees 🐝 and after flowering you will see rosehip fruits appear that will feed lots of hungry birds 🐦. Your plants are covered by our 12 month plant guarantee so if you do have any issues with them please do let us know.
