We do have early‑arrival procedures in place to minimise waiting times, but on this occasion the exceptionally good traffic conditions meant the coach arrived much earlier than expected, which added to the delay before the connecting vehicles arrived. During the winter months, the earlier closures of the restaurants and glasshouses can understandably leave a gap before the scheduled pick‑up. Our timings are set to accommodate the full advertised visit and to ensure the driver’s legal rest requirements are met, but your suggestion about adjusting the schedule for winter departures is very helpful. We’ll certainly review this when planning future trips. Thank you also for raising the point about pick‑up locations. Holiday tours do operate from Greenbridge, but day trips follow a different routing pattern. That said, we’re always looking at ways to improve accessibility, and your request for a Stratton/Greenbridge pick‑up will be passed on to our operations team for consideration.
