Thank you for your feedback which is really appreciated. I like the fact that there isn't an average to be honest as it forces people off the fence! In this case we obviously haven't come up to expectations and perhaps your opinion of the product has coloured your opinion of our overall service which is obviously disappointing, but one that we do understand. With regards to the product, obviously this is subjective and whilst I note you've seen something similar, without reference to it I can't comment about the price difference, other than to say that for a balcony planter than is under £20 this is fairly inexpensive. You obviously had the opportunity to return the item too, but appreciate that this isn't always easy. I note from one other comment on this item, the expectation was not met (for other reasons) however apart from that, others appear to be satisfied. Some of our sales are made from the shop where obviously people get a better chance to inspect the item, so I am happy to stand by the item. The item is zinc and other than giving the gauge of the metal it is difficult to know what else we could do. Nonetheless given your comments we will review how it is represented to see if we can address this. Thank you again for giving the opportunity to comment. Stuart

Thank you for your feedback and please accept our apologies that this item took longer than we anticipated and that we failed to adequately keep you informed. Our records note that when you ordered on 10/9 the availability was showing as end September. You phoned on 1st October - 3 weeks later and we clarified that there had been a delay on 4th October and gave you an updated delivery, after speaking to the supplier, which you accepted. We accept there was a further one week delay in your order coming in. Having personally driven 100 miles to the suppliers warehouse the very morning the items arrived into the country rather than wait a few days for them to be delivered to us, I can assure you that we tried to get these to customers as soon as was practically possible. Our challenge is that we rely on information from suppliers who in turn are relying on information from shippers. A wide variety of circumstances mean that sometimes the precise and accurate landing date changes and everyone else in the supply chain is failed to be informed. From our part we really try hard to give customers accurate assessments but the reliability of this information is totally out of our hands. The last thing we want to do is to let people down and when we know that an item is needed for a specific date (which I don't think was the case here) we are very clear about the possibility of further delay. As you point out, the item is of good quality and I hope the delay will not affect your impression of our company. I have impressed upon everyone here of the need to keep people informed however unpalatable the information might be. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to comment. Stuart
