Thank you very much for your feedback. I think you make some important points and I'm really sorry that the non existence of a smaller spanner for the one smaller bolt and the difficultly you've had putting the item together has affected your opinion of this beautiful product. I will feedback your comments to the manufacturer and also reflect on our description of the assembly required and perhaps provide some extra advice to customers in an email. I'm also thinking of doing a little video of the assembly to assist too. I suspect the spanner is provided just in case people don't have one because it is actually much easier to put the whole thing together with a specialist tool such as a torque wrench combined with the spanner provided to just hold the nut. If you don't have such a tool then we would recommend trying to borrow one to tighten everything up. With regards to the screws and nuts being a different colour, this is deliberate. If the nuts and bolts were to go through the painting process, the extra layer of paint would give the additional problems of either not going through the holes as easily and being difficult to thread the nut on the bolt. However if you did wish to paint the bolts after assembly or tidy up any scratches we do offer a matched spray paint. Thank you once again for giving us the opportunity to comment. Stuart
