The industry standard for annually renewable Life policies is for premiums to increase as a client ages. The alternative would be to purchase a term or level annual premium policy which unfortunately we do not sell at William Russell. We have not increased our table of rates since 2009 and in 2018 we actually lowered our rates for a lot of customers (between ages 18 and 54), for some this meant a reduction in premium compared to the previous year and for others this meant a lower increase in premium. Our premium rates are set by the insurer and are decided based upon statistical data and are not related to individual histories.
