It’s great to hear the experience was memorable overall, with a fun pace, amazing sights and a Trip Leader who helped make navigating Japan (especially the bullet train and luggage forwarding) feel smooth and stress-free. Meeting new people and creating those first-time-in-Japan moments is exactly what these trips are all about. When it comes to activities, all Topdeck trips are designed with a balance of included experiences and free time. Optional activities are offered to help travellers personalise their days, add extra experiences or simply make the most of the destinations at their own pace. Everything included in the trip price is clearly outlined in the trip notes, along with the optional extras available should you wish to take part. This structure keeps the trip flexible and makes sure travellers only pay for the things they genuinely want to do. Regarding the pre-trip accommodation, it’s good to hear the rooming issue was resolved quickly, though it’s completely understandable that it was frustrating at the time.
