Sounds like you absolutely loved the destinations (and we don't blame you)! Topdeck is all about showcasing incredible places. Some are just too good to leave, right? We totally get wishing for more time in certain spots. After looking into the accommodation mix-up, it seems this was due to an issue with the booking process through your travel agent. We’re glad your Trip Leader was proactive in assisting and that everything was successfully sorted out as so you could enjoy the rest of the trip! Regarding the app, upon investigating, we understand you spoke to our customer service team, and we’re glad to hear they were able to help and provide you with assistance at the time. It’s awesome that you had some standout moments like the optional Hida beef dinner, Tokyo rush hour (what a ride!) and the food markets - all sounds unreal! Noted on Harajuku, we totally get that it deserved more time. Also, sumo tournaments? LOVE this idea thank you. We’ll look into ways to make that happen for future trips! Regarding the traditional stay, we appreciate your understanding of why we no longer use that particular property, as communicated via email to you prior to your departure. Rest assured, our website and trip details were updated to accurately reflect this change. We take your feedback seriously and we’re actively hunting for a new option that still delivers those authentic vibes as we’re committed to sourcing truly local experiences for our customers. We're sorry to read that there was some initial confusion about how to book your optional activities through our app. We understand you spoke to our customer service team and we're glad to hear that they were there to help and provide you with assistance on navigating the app.The suggestion of speaking to your Trip Leader about booking your optional activities was in direct relation to the Hobbiton movie set visit and only in the event you were unable to purchase the activity prior to your departure, either through our app or directly as a secondary option.This was a top tip from our customer service team as this is a super popular activity and typically needs to be booked outside of 2 weeks from departure - we don't want our customers to miss out! From reviewing this further, we unfortunately were unable to locate any reported technical errors or issues at the time of your communication with our customer service team. However, please do be assured that that we have since forwarded your feedback to our app team for further investigation. Thank you for bringing this to our attention!
