We do try to offer value for money by keeping prices as low as possible and usually fares only rise annually in line with RPI. Vehicle fares are nearly always cheaper if booked well in advance and quieter sailings will be cheaper than travelling at peak times.

Extremely good humour from your "check-in" staff at Southampton
The staff and crew did a great job, on my return I arrived 2 and a half hours early and they managed to fit me onto an earlier crossing that was due to leave imminently, for the small excess charge...
We arrived at the port early in order to board early (due to elderly travellers) but were one of the last on the ship and hence no seats were available
Had a very enjoyable journey both ways, your staff are always pleasant even though the public must get on their nerves.
I was also very pleased with the change of rules for dog owners being allowed...
