We agree - we almost didn't take this property onto our portfolio several years back because of the unusual three single bed option here. It is the only property on our portfolio with this option, and we're glad we took the risk as it has proven popular. We know the terrace area and location probably also has something to do with it. Thank you for staying with us twice. 

Thank you for your admission that you were to blame for blocking the toilet. 

When guests abuse a property by blocking a toilet then we have a contractual duty to the owner to repair it and hold deposit monies on behalf of the owner. We also have a duty to get the property back to standard for the next guest. 

 

At the owner's request, we passed the bill onto you as there was no doubt that this damage was caused by you. 

Emergency plumbing work is expensive in Nice, and the job was not minor. However, it could have been avoided with some basic care by your party. We have given you the bill, and it remains open for you to dispute it through normal legal channels, direct with the plumber.  

It is unfortunate that you feel so angry that when: 

a) you cause an issue that involves much unpaid work and inconvenience to all; 

b) we fix the problem for future guests, and as cheaply as possible for you; 

c) Pebbles did not raise the plumbing invoice

that you choose to blame an innocent company and will take all efforts to deter others from using us. 

We're sorry you had the issue whilst staying with us.
