Dear David, We'r sorry to read that your traps are not performing as you had hoped. Our traps are produced in batches of many thousands and if there was an issue with the pheromone it would be picked by the Quality Control Team. Please do consider that only adult male Clothes & Carpet Moths will be attracted. Females, juveniles, as well as other moth types will not be attracted to Moth Traps. Also, please be sure to position your traps away from light, drafts, strong smells and at 3-6ft high. We're not sure how many flying moths you are seeing around your home, but please do your traps in position and/or move them to a new position for the duration of their shelf life - They will attract and capture adult male moths if they are passing and help you to monitor.

Hi Richard, Thank you for your feedback. We see from your order that you purchased our Fumers / Smoke Bombs. It’s important to consider that they are a ‘knockdown’ product. That means that after you’ve completed the process of fuming there will not be any residue or persistence left in place to continue treating. So, if later a moth flies into a treated room it will not be killed. If you continue to see moths flying or are continuing to catch moths on our Traps we would recommend the use of one of our ‘Persistent’ sprays such as Insectaclear C. Such sprays dry to leave a coating that will kill any eggs, larvae or moths that touch it. Kind regards,

Thank you so much for your great review on our Clothes and Carpet Moth Traps. You may still see a few moths flying around, and yes they could very well be females or young males that are not yet sexually active. We advise keeping the Traps in place as they will work for 3 months after opening. That way you can further monitor for moths and make sure that the sexually adult male moths are still being caught. The traps can be moved around your home as long as they are placed 3 - 6 ft above carpet level. We also sell Moth Trap Refills which could be a less costly way of continuing your moth prevention, depending on how many traps you might need.
