Hi Jeremy, thank you for taking the time to leave some feedback on your experience with us. I note from previous orders you have purchased variable force gas struts which allow you to adjust the force of the gas strut once installed on your application. We're not sure why you then decided to buy fixed force gas struts set at a specific pressure, as this would require you to know the force you need the gas struts set at. We can find no communication between yourself and us on assisting you with the correct pressure you needed and so we can only assume you thought you knew the pressure they should be set at. In this case it seems you have selected the incorrect pressure and left us negative feedback. Please do get in touch if you require any further assistance.

Hi Jeremy, we're not sure where you are getting the 700N from, we cannot find any communication between yourself and us stating this. Also we need to understand how you are testing your gas struts. Snapping of the threads is almost entirely indicative of the end fittings being loosened, loose end fittings create a sheer point, tightened end fittings are an important part of our QA process here at Metrol.
