We are so sorry to hear that you didn't find the black truffle to be tasty. If it's not kept in the correct conditions as per our leaflet it will lose its weight and flavour. If you're not planning on consuming it straight away it will need to be kept in an airtight container with raw rice and wrapped in a paper towel which needs to be changed daily until you use it. We always advise to consume it straight away, however, we know that over Christmas the last delivery date was 22nd Dec so our customers needed to preserve it in this way.

We are sorry that you were so furious your Capon came with a bit more than the giblets. As we mentioned in our email exchanges this must have been a one-off as it was our only complaint and our supplier did inform us that the giblets along with the head and feet would be attached, as per the details on the website. We apologise for the extra time it took you to remove these and thought a £20 gift voucher would be a nice gesture, clearly, this was not well received.
