Options unclear and variation of prices was wild . No clear way of booking the hotel for the night before our day in the park , ended up having to book a Friday and Saturday in Park to cover a Friday...

Hey there,
thanks for taking the time to let us know about a few points surrounding your booking experience.
I am very sad to read that our packages where unclear for you. Most of the time there are a few packages running, so guests can book well in advance to secure the best price and availably for certain events weekends and general dates.
The price does vary depending on the date and we also work on a live booking system so from time to time the prices do change. We always advise to book as early as possible to get the best rates.
On our website during your booking process, you would need to select two dates. One for your hotel stay date and another for your park entry date. I certainly do apologise if this was confusing for you. However with your one night stay, and as part of the package, you received 2 day tickets for the price of one. So this enabled you to enter the Alton Towers Theme park on both the Friday and Saturday at your leisure.
I do hope that aside the negative feedback you and your family enjoyed your time at the Alton Towers Resort, we would love to welcome you back again in the near future.
