Thanks for submitting your feedback. We disagree with your statement that our bags are disposable because they are not designed or sold as such. They are made from strong and robust material, generally PVC and TPU, and can last for years depending on use and storage. In most cases damage can be repaired on the bags ensuring their longevity, but in some instances it can't. Unfortunately the damage to your item was not repairable, hence why we offered discount off a new product. Many thanks, The OverBoard Team
