Thanks for taking the time to provide your feedback, it really does help in assessing areas where we can improve. From your feedback it sounds like the box may have been damaged in transit as I can see from our packing notes that everything was sent together. If you had contacted us immediately we would have been able to send you the missing components straight away. I can see that the delivery was made on 10th December and appears to have been signed for, so it is a mystery as to how it was left on your doorstep. We're finalising contracts with new couriers at the moment and one of the key points will be leaving orders as instructed. With regard to instructions, we don't send our paper items with the plants as they are prone to getting damaged however we have a lengthy 'Help and Advice' section on our website which goes into some detail on the planting of different types of trees. I can offer you two options, I can send the missing components if the tree has not yet been planted, or, if the tree is already in the ground I can give you a full refund for the planting kit. Let me know which option suits you best (using the contact details below) and I'll action the necessities at this end for you. Thank you for getting back to me so quickly. I can't see how the tree was signed for as I was on nightshift and found it on trhe drive when I left for work. I am still waiting to plant the tree due to the bad weather we constantly seem to have in Scotland. I should have contacted you straight away but lifes busy and I forgot at the time. The rest of the planting kit would come in very handy when the snow clears. Many thanks Lyndon Neal
